DESCRIPTION:Sweatlodges are profound\, deep\, and healing experience. Our lodge stands on the marshland overlooking the open fields. It is a place of peace and tranquillity\, steeped in the mystery of the land.\nJoin us in celebration at the end of Celtic year and beginning of the new year\,A time when the veil is thin and our dead draw even closer . Please note booking is essential.\n \nThe Sweatlodge represents the gestating void\, the womb\, the earth belly of the mother. We enter with respect\, honour\, and trust. We attune to the seasonal energies throughout the day. We devote the whole day to the Sweatlodge experience. From the covering of the frame and selecting the sacred rocks; then preparing and lighting of the fire. The rocks are heated in the fire so that their ancient wisdom and healing can be released. We create old crafts that attune us to the festival we are celebrating.We will guide you gently through this beautiful ceremony. We will hear the call of the drum and feel the warmth of the fire\, honouring our ancestors and taking time out for ourselves. \nThis time allows us as men to be authentic\, honest with ourselves and allow our true self to laugh\, heal and just be. \nFrame drums only. DESCRIPTION:With over 25 years’ experience Lynn will take you on a magical journey of meeting a greeting an incredible new friend\, your very own drum. We only take three people a time so we can give the very best we can offer to make the day really special and more personal. \nOur workshops are held at Caer Corhrain Shamanic Center on the Isle Of Sheppey Kent a beautiful heart space full of vibrant energy and home to many who once visit is captured in its spell. \nYour very own drum is a special friend who will heal you\, take you on breath-taking journeys and share with you a connection and oneness with all. To birth your own drum is a truly rewarding experience; putting your love\, intent and energy into this powerful medicine tool will make a truly special drum for you indeed. \nOur drums are made in the traditional way using lacing cut from the same hide\, thus keeping the spirit of the animal within the drum. \nIn this full day workshop\, we will show you the full art of drum making from cutting both the hide and lacing\, in a day of ceremony\, honouring the spirits of the animal and the tree. During this workshop we will work together to explore them directly through sound\, art\, and journeying. \n\nWe’ll begin with an opening\, grounding into the space with chant and intention setting as we introduce ourselves and connect as a group.\nFrom there\, we’ll work through the Three Cauldrons with meditation\, sound\, and journeying – using drumbeat\, chimes\, and vibration – before taking time to journal and share our insights.\nThe creative flow continues with a Cauldron Art Session\, bringing inner visions to life through paints\, pastels\, and natural materials.\nIn the afternoon\, we’ll deepen our experience with a journey to meet our personal guide of the cauldrons.
