DESCRIPTION:With over 25 years’ experience Lynn will take you on a magical journey of meeting a greeting an incredible new friend\, your very own drum. We only take three people a time so we can give the very best we can offer to make the day really special and more personal. \nOur workshops are held at Caer Corhrain Shamanic Center on the Isle Of Sheppey Kent a beautiful heart space full of vibrant energy and home to many who once visit is captured in its spell. \nYour very own drum is a special friend who will heal you\, take you on breath-taking journeys and share with you a connection and oneness with all. To birth your own drum is a truly rewarding experience; putting your love\, intent and energy into this powerful medicine tool will make a truly special drum for you indeed. \nOur drums are made in the traditional way using lacing cut from the same hide\, thus keeping the spirit of the animal within the drum. \nIn this full day workshop\, we will show you the full art of drum making from cutting both the hide and lacing\, in a day of ceremony\, honouring the spirits of the animal and the tree. When you have birthed your drum\, you will be led on a journey to connect with the spirit of your drum. \nPLEASE NOTEIn our workshops you will cut the drum head\, punch the holes and cut your own lacing to gain the full art of birthing your own drum.Your 16 inch or 18-inch drum can be either Deer or Horse ( Reindeer when available) and you will also craft a beater. – Please let us know at point of booking and paying deposits which hide you would like to work with. \nFees: 14″ – £215\, 16″ – £225\, 18″ – £250Deposit 50% \nNone transferable or refundable \nFacebook message or email Lynn.gosney@hotmail.com for more info on how to book

SUMMARY:Sacred Sweatlodge Celebrating Summer Solstice (21st June 2025)

It is a place of peace and tranquillity\, steeped in the mystery of the land.\nIf the Sweatlodge is full when you request a space you can ask to be put on to a waiting list for that date if you are fully committed to keeping that date free should a space become available.\nLodge is a suggested £30 CASH donation on the day\, to cover overheads and wood. Please email lynn.gosney@hotmail.com or via messenger for more information and to book. Please note booking is essential.\nWe look forward to welcoming you to our Ceremony and Caer Corhrain\n \nWhat is a Sweatlodge\nThe Sweatlodge represents the gestating void\, the womb\, the earth belly of the mother. We enter with respect\, honour\, and trust. We attune to the seasonal energies throughout the day. We devote the whole day to the Sweatlodge experience. From the covering of the frame and selecting the sacred rocks; then preparing and lighting of the fire. The rocks are heated in the fire so that their ancient wisdom and healing can be released. We create old crafts that attune us to the festival we are celebrating. We will guide you gently through this beautiful ceremony. Having facilitated many lodges over the years\, we will lead you through this most healing and beautiful ceremony with love and integrity .\n \nSacred Womb of RebirthInto lodge we humble seekOur mothers love we feel so deepHer bones they hold usHer darkness healsWe hear her song the void she fillsWisdom rocks bring fourth releaseAs tears and fears are soon releasedBirthed and balanced healed and wholeFrom the earth her children flow.Lynn Gosney © 2010
