From the covering of the frame and selecting the sacred rocks; then preparing and lighting of the fire. The rocks are heated in the fire so that their ancient wisdom and healing can be released. I’ve had the most profound and life changing week!LYNN and Bruce Teach with such intent\, wisdom and they give so generously and wholeheartedly of their time and knowledge ( which is mind blowing!) nothing held back because they want everyone to succeed and find their connection and purpose. The sacred space and ceremony I cannot even described because it was truly\, truly\, purely sacred and I will hold\, cherish and honour the experiences of the last week forever in my soul. ( no photos either\, sacred time\, sacred space ) as a teacher myself\, Every day I was thinking they can’t top this! … but they did!I come home with sacred centeredness\, peace\, confidence and a real sense of belonging The porridge princesses were fantastic\, nurturing us with good food\, the venue\, beautiful\, Dartmoor as always\, ancient\, brimming with abundance\, profound lessons and joyous connection. To birth your own drum is a truly rewarding experience; putting your love\, intent and energy into this powerful medicine tool will make a truly special drum for you indeed. \nOur drums are made in the traditional way using lacing cut from the same hide\, thus keeping the spirit of the animal within the drum. \nIn this full day workshop\, we will show you the full art of drum making from cutting both the hide and lacing\, in a day of ceremony\, honouring the spirits of the animal and the tree. The Ancestors of this land and those of our bloodline.\n \nThree Sacred fires will be lit and burn into the darkness.\n \nWe will hold a simple yet meaningful Ceremony around the fire.We can share music stories and of course we will drum.\n \nOur roundhouse will become a beautiful space filled with fairy lights and photos of loved ones past.\nThere will be no fee\, no donation\, just bring your pure intent of remembering and honouring. We will make this a joyful celebration.\nDon’t forget to bring flowers and photo of loved ones please.\nMay They Be Remembered \n \nBring food to share. Maybe a dish that’s a family recipe\, one that has been handed down from your Ancestors.\n \nDO NOT BRING ANY FOOD WITH NUTS IN IT PLEASE.\n \nBring joyful happy colourful painted faces.
