We only take three people a time so we can give the very best we can offer to make the day really special and more personal. \nOur workshops are held at Caer Corhrain Shamanic Center on the Isle Of Sheppey Kent a beautiful heart space full of vibrant energy and home to many who once visit is captured in its spell. \nYour very own drum is a special friend who will heal you\, take you on breath-taking journeys and share with you a connection and oneness with all. To birth your own drum is a truly rewarding experience; putting your love\, intent and energy into this powerful medicine tool will make a truly special drum for you indeed. \nOur drums are made in the traditional way using lacing cut from the same hide\, thus keeping the spirit of the animal within the drum. \nIn this full day workshop\, we will show you the full art of drum making from cutting both the hide and lacing\, in a day of ceremony\, honouring the spirits of the animal and the tree. Please note booking is essential.\n \nThe Sweatlodge represents the gestating void\, the womb\, the earth belly of the mother. We enter with respect\, honour\, and trust. We attune to the seasonal energies throughout the day. We devote the whole day to the Sweatlodge experience. From the covering of the frame and selecting the sacred rocks; then preparing and lighting of the fire. The rocks are heated in the fire so that their ancient wisdom and healing can be released. We create old crafts that attune us to the festival we are celebrating.We will guide you gently through this beautiful ceremony. The Ancestors of this land and those of our bloodline.\n \nThree Sacred fires will be lit and burn into the darkness.\n \nWe will hold a simple yet meaningful Ceremony around the fire.We can share music stories and of course we will drum.\n \nOur roundhouse will become a beautiful space filled with fairy lights and photos of loved ones past.\nThere will be no fee\, no donation\, just bring your pure intent of remembering and honouring. We will make this a joyful celebration.\nDon’t forget to bring flowers and photo of loved ones please.\nMay They Be Remembered \n \nBring food to share. Maybe a dish that’s a family recipe\, one that has been handed down from your Ancestors.\n \nDO NOT BRING ANY FOOD WITH NUTS IN IT PLEASE.\n \nBring joyful happy colourful painted faces. We enter with respect\, honour\, and trust. We attune to the seasonal energies throughout the day. We devote the whole day to the lodge experience. From the covering of the frame and selecting the sacred rocks; then preparing and lighting of the fire. The rocks are heated in the fire so that their ancient wisdom and healing can be released. We create old crafts that attune us to the festival we are celebrating.Lynn and Wendy will guide you gently through this beautiful ceremony. Having facilitated many lodges over the years\, we will lead you through this most healing and beautiful ceremony with love and integrity.\n \nWild Woman Is Calling\nOh! the wild primal woman is bursting with the need of escape\, escape from the gentleness and the sweetness into the wild and untamed part of who she really is \, to meet again that wild woman who is not restrained by conformity or the bonds that only touch the surface of her realness and the authenticity of who she really is\, the sheer power of naked painted woman dancing wildly and free around the fire\, looking deeply into the flames that dance with her\, revealing the fire spirits reaching out to meet her\, sparks igniting\, passion deeper and deeper. Oh! how she yearns to crawl on the earth again\, to have the earth oozing through her toes\, imbedded deeply in her skin\, in her hair\, and her nails\, to sit in the dark of the mother’s womb\, feeling the safety of her membrane\, her cells\, the boundary keeping them safe within. Feeling the strength of her bones that encase her\, bathed in her fragrance off cool damp earth\, mixed with the aroma plant spirits among the lingering smell of wood smoke.\nHeld within her body\, loving\, holding and supporting. Sweat and tears running into the earth\, hot burning heat\, a oneness\, the void that fills and captures every essence\, of every sense\, a journey into the world of all worlds\, present\, yet not present\, walking between the worlds that intertwine. Oh! to crawl out on all fours into the welcoming arms of rebirth embracing rebirth\, seeing all with real eyes\, at one with the realness\, releasing the scream from within that will release them\, the primal scream of the wild woman with sword and shield held high\, banishes all that does not serve her.
