Our lodge stands on the marshland overlooking the open fields. It is a place of peace and tranquillity\, steeped in the mystery of the land. \n\nJoin us as we celebrate the Summer Solstice — the longest\, brightest day of the year. \nCome and honour the fullness of the sun and welcome the vibrant energy of midsummer. \n\nIf the Sweat Lodge is full when you request a space\, you can ask to be put on to a waiting list for that date if you are fully committed to keeping that date free should a space become available. \n\nLodge is a suggested £30 CASH donation on the day\, to cover overheads and wood. \nPlease email lynn.gosney@hotmail.com or via messenger for more information and to book. Please note booking is essential. \n\nWe look forward to welcoming you to our Ceremony and Caer Corhrain \n\nWhat is a Sweat Lodge The Sweat Lodge represents the gestating void\, the womb\, the earth belly of the mother. We enter with respect\, honour\, and trust. We attune to the seasonal energies throughout the day. We devote the whole day to the Sweat Lodge experience. From the covering of the frame and selecting the sacred rocks; then preparing and lighting of the fire. The rocks are heated in the fire so that their ancient wisdom and healing can be released. We create old crafts that attune us to the festival we are celebrating. \nWe will guide you gently through this beautiful ceremony.
