DESCRIPTION:Sweatlodges are profound\, deep\, and healing experience. Our lodge stands on the marshland overlooking the open fields. It is a place of peace and tranquillity\, steeped in the mystery of the land.\nJoin us as we celebrate the beginning of harvesting . A time which is sacred to the sun god Lugh. The time of the hunter gathers.\nImportant information Changes made to booking Lodge.\nSweatlodges can only be booked after the last one has been held.If the Sweatlodge is full when you request a space you can ask to be put on to a waiting list for that date if you are fully committed to keeping that date free should a space become available.Lodge is a suggested £30 CASH donation on the day\, to cover overheads and wood.Please email lynn.gosney@hotmail.com or via messenger for more information and to book. Please note booking is essential.We look forward to welcoming you to our Ceremony and Caer Corhrain\n \nThe Sweatlodge represents the gestating void\, the womb\, the earth belly of the mother. We enter with respect\, honour\, and trust. We attune to the seasonal energies throughout the day. We devote the whole day to the Sweatlodge experience. From the covering of the frame and selecting the sacred rocks; then preparing and lighting of the fire. The rocks are heated in the fire so that their ancient wisdom and healing can be released. We create old crafts that attune us to the festival we are celebrating.We will guide you gently through this beautiful ceremony.
