Come and join us for this men-only Sweat Lodge. Together, we will prepare and cover the lodge, place our prayers into the lodge rocks then sit in circle to share and drum.
Taking time out from modern life, we will give ourselves the permission and space to remove the masks we sometimes wear, allowing ourselves space to nurture and heal.
The Sweat Lodge is a profound, deep, and transformative experience. Our lodge stands on the marshland, overlooking open fields — a place of peace and tranquillity, steeped in the mystery of the land and filled with birdsong.
Important Information:
If the lodge is full when you enquire, you may request to be placed on the waiting list, provided you can fully commit to the date should a space become available.
Please bring a £30 cash donation on the day.
Bring your own drinking water and a packed lunch.
Limited accommodation is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

What is a Sweat Lodge?
The Sweat Lodge represents the gestating void — the womb, the Earth’s belly.
We enter with respect, honour, and trust, attuning ourselves to the energies throughout the day.
The entire day is devoted to the lodge experience:
- Covering the lodge frame and selecting the sacred stones
- Preparing and lighting the fire
- Heating the rocks so their ancient wisdom and healing may be released
John has learnt the art of pouring lodge from Lynn Gosney over many years. He will guide you through this beautiful ceremony, leading with love, integrity, and deep respect for the tradition.
