Advanced Rune Workshop with SighPea
June 27 @ 11:00 am - 5:30 pm

This day is designed for people who have either taken the introductory course, and been actively using runes since, or people who already have a good working knowledge of the runes and use them regularly, but would like to take it further.
It will be group sessions and rituals for everybody to participate in.
The aim will be to have 9 people there on the day including myself. The day will be a combination of stories in the roundhouse, meditation in Heron’s lodge, and crafting in the community hut, outside ritual – and wherever else the day takes us.
Bring your runes, and anything else you use in your runic practices, or that connect you to the gods and your path. Bring offerings for the gods – tailored to any individual ones as feels right.
- But most importantly, bring your intentions:
- What do you want to get out of this day?
- Are there any particular runes you want to connect with, or work more deeply with?
- Are there any particular gods you want to connect with?
- Is there anything specific in your life that the runes can help you with at this time?
The day will be bespoke, tailored to the guidance on the day and the people involved, but some of the basic structure will include the following:
- Rune centred guided meditation and drum journey
- Journey to find your own bind rune
- Crafting of this bind rune
- Norse mythology stories in the round house and Heron’s lodge
- Galdr and chanting of runes for deep connection and meditation
- Discussion and ritual for connecting to specific gods and goddesses
- Group readings and deep discussion about specific runes and what they mean to the group.
- Which ones are people most connected to?
- Putting it all together into ritual.
